UC Students Vote! Project - Nov 2008
The Largest Non-Partisan Youth Voter Engagement Mobilization in the State
University of California students have a lot at stake in this November’s election. Youth voter turnout in the last primary and general election has increased over previous elections and this November UC student voter turnout could eclipse that of the average California voter. Students are poised to elect the next President of the United States, decide on twelve state ballot propositions, and re-prioritize higher education issues on the state decision-making table. Students from the University of California Student Association (UCSA), for the second year, are teaming up with the United States Student Association Foundation (USSAF) to run the UC Students Vote! Project. Through on campus coalitions, students will engage in a massive peer-to-peer, non-partisan voter mobilization effort on UC campuses across the state. Print Our UC Students Vote! Project Factsheet for more info.
