UCSA Internships

UCSA Summer Internships are a great way to get involved! As a student-run, student-led organization, UCSA is invested in developing the skills, leadership and knowledge of individual members to run successful campaigns on campus and systemwide. Each intern designs their own summer project with the Executive Director, collaborating with UCSA staff and Board members to complete it. Recent interns have, for example, co-designed our statewide “Bear Essentials” Vote Training and revamped our Collective Bargaining training curriculum. Whether your interest is in media, communications, conference planning, legislative affairs or organizational governance, UCSA Summer Internships offer you an experience unlike any other.

Internship Benefits Include:

•    Experience working with a small nonprofit team.
•    One-on-one mentorship with the Executive Director.
•    Opportunities to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops.
•    A chance to design and implement a large-scale project from start to finish.
•    Ongoing recognition for your work.
