Conference Theme: RISE UP! Reclaiming our Education and Making our Voices Heard!
Mission Statement:
Through the Students of Color Conference, we intend to empower and educate students of color and other allies throughout California to begin to conceptualize a statewide student movement to overturn Proposition 209. We hope to create a space that builds racial consciousness, promotes the connection of different issues, and positive and shared networking.

Registration includes conference materials, and admission to all conference events: workshops, speakers, conference meals, and entertainment. To qualify for the pre-registration rate your Group leader must complete the online group registration AND each group member must also complete an individual online registration by the pre-registration deadline. If you are attending by yourself, you only need to complete an individual registration form.
Pre-registration rate: $20 (before October 27)
On-site registration rate: $30 (after October 27)
Berkeley student registration rate: $5
REGISTRATION MUST BE RECEIVED BY BRIDGES BY THE DEADLINE TO QUALIFY FOR THE PRE-REGISTRATION RATE. PAYMENT FOR ALL REGISTERED GROUP MEMBERS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN THE FIRST DAY OF THE CONFERENCE, OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE LATE RATE. Registration may only be transferred within a group. Please make checks payable to "bridges Multicultural Resource Center".
Transportation
The closet airports are the Oakland and San Francisco International Airports. You can drive from the airport to campus or take BART. Click here for directions to UC Berkeley.
Special Needs
bridges and UCSA will make every effort to make the conference accessible to all students. If you or a member of your group has any special needs please include these in the registration form. We cannot guarantee special needs requests after the deadline of October 20, 2006.
