Workshop Proposal Form

Deadline to submit this applicaiton: EXTENDED October 27, 2006

The theme for this year’s Students of Color Conference is “RISE UP! Reclaiming our Education and Making our Voices Heard!” We would like to invite you to facilitate a workshop in some way relevant to Proposition 209. Specifically, workshops may fall under one of these particular Prop. 209-related themes:
- History
- Research
- Personal Identity
- Mobilization

Additionally, the following are a few ideas for workshops that we would be particularly interested in offering and for which we are still looking for facilitators.
- Adopted Students of Color
- Employment Diversity
- Contracting – How Prop 209 has affected contracting
- How 209 Affects Non-People of Color
- History of Prop 54
